Before close, broken data becomes negotiating leverage. After close, it becomes integration cost. We find it before you own it, then build the infrastructure that fixes it.

Duplicate events and stale overwrites do more than corrupt a CRM. They create revenue a buyer cannot independently explain. We build governed middleware with idempotency, retry queues, field ownership, and audit trails so every commercial event can be traced across CRM, operations, billing, and finance without contaminating the underlying record.

Features
Features
Full-Stack Capabilities
The control architecture that turns disconnected operating systems into a defensible platform.

Governed System Sync
True two-way synchronization across HubSpot, LMN/Aspire, and QuickBooks — without infinite loops or duplicate writes.

Idempotency Engine
Never see a duplicate deal again. Our middleware assigns unique hash keys to every transaction, blocking double-entries instantly.

Source-of-Truth Governance
When systems disagree, our rules decide which record governs before the variance reaches reporting.
Entity & Ownership Resolution
Solve the "Salesperson A vs B" conflict. Intelligent logic routes leads to specific reps based on zip code or service type.
Audit & Governance
24-month stateful audit log. Every sync event timestamped, every validation result stored. Not 90 days of Zapier history — two years of defensible data your attorney can hand to a diligence team.

Revenue tells you how big the business is. Infrastructure determines how much of that story can be independently proven. Groundbreakers builds the evidence and control layer that supports underwriting before close, integration after close, and diligence at the next exit.

step 1
Diligence & Mapping
We trace the commercial event across CRM, operations, billing, and accounting. We document entity relationships, field ownership, revenue definitions, integration dependencies, and material variance.

step 2
Control Layer Deployment
We build the governed middleware and data model that resolves identity, enforces source-of-truth rules, prevents stale overwrites, handles failed transactions, and preserves an audit trail.
step 3
Reconciliation & Governance
We validate the architecture against real operating scenarios, document exceptions, reconcile material variance, and hand the platform a repeatable operating model for the next acquisition.

Your Questions Answered
Answers to common questions about systems diligence, revenue integrity, acquisition integration, and data governance.
What services do you offer?
Groundbreakers provides M&A systems diligence, revenue-integrity diagnostics, post-close integration, and sell-side infrastructure remediation for home-services companies, PE-backed platforms, buyers, sellers, and transaction advisors.
Can't I just hire a developer to build this?
You can hire a developer to move data between systems. The harder problem is determining what that data is allowed to mean. In an acquisition environment, the architecture has to answer questions code alone does not solve: Which customer record is canonical? Which legal entity owns the revenue? Which system has authority over a field? Can an older update overwrite a newer commercial state? What happens when an event executes twice? What happens when two systems disagree? Groundbreakers designs that control layer first, then builds the integration around it. The result is not simply working API code. It is governed infrastructure with entity resolution, field ownership, No-Regress Logic, idempotency, retry handling, exception queues, reconciliation, provenance, and an auditable record of what changed and why.
Do I need to switch CRMs to work with you?
No. The objective is not to force every company onto the same application. We work across HubSpot and Salesforce, operating platforms such as LMN, Aspire and ServiceTitan, and financial systems including QuickBooks Online, Sage and NetSuite. Where the existing applications are fit for purpose, they remain in place. Groundbreakers builds the governed integration and data layer between them so the portfolio can operate from consistent definitions of customer, ownership, commercial state, revenue, and legal entity. Local systems can remain local. The data cannot remain fragmented.
Why aren't native integrations or automation tools enough?
Native connectors and orchestration platforms can move data between systems. The harder problem is governing what happens when those systems disagree. In a transaction-critical environment, CRM, operations, billing, and accounting may each represent a different stage of the same commercial event. The architecture has to preserve identity, determine field ownership, validate state changes, prevent duplicate execution, handle failures, and maintain an audit trail that explains what changed and why. Groundbreakers uses native integrations, APIs, Make.com, n8n, Workato, or other orchestration tools where they fit. Durable state and governance sit in the appropriate control layer, which may include PostgreSQL, Supabase, or custom Python middleware. The tools execute. The control layer determines what is allowed to become true.
What does it mean for revenue to be diligence-ready?
A CRM report is not proof of revenue. A buyer needs to understand how the commercial event moves from opportunity to contract or estimate, through job delivery and billing, and ultimately into accounting. Groundbreakers traces that chain across systems and builds a Variance Bridge explaining why the numbers differ. A CRM may show $10.0M, the operating platform $9.4M, and accounting $9.1M. The objective is not to force every system to display the same number. The objective is to explain the $900K difference line by line. What is timing? What is cancelled work? What is duplication? What is a missing invoice? What is Ghost Revenue? What represents actual economic exposure? That is the institutional version of our 3-Number Truth Test: CRM, Operations, and Finance must tell a consistent, traceable, and auditable economic story.
Who owns the infrastructure once it's built?
The client owns its data, deployed infrastructure, engagement-specific configurations, schemas, mapping tables, documentation, and operating environments. Where appropriate, systems are built inside client-controlled infrastructure or transferred as part of the handoff. Groundbreakers may retain reusable methods, frameworks, templates, and pre-existing intellectual property that are not specific to the client's proprietary data or operating environment. The objective is to reduce vendor dependency, not create another one.
How long does a deployment take?
Timeline depends on the transaction and architecture. A focused systems or revenue-integrity diagnostic can be completed in weeks. Post-close middleware, multi-entity reconciliation, historical migration, and portfolio-wide governance require a longer implementation based on system count, data quality, acquisition history, and remediation scope. We define the architecture, dependencies, remediation priorities, and implementation sequence before the build begins so the client knows what is being fixed, what depends on what, what should be prioritized first, and why.
How do you handle data security?
We design around least-privilege access, separation of environments, encrypted credentials and secrets, role-based permissions, controlled API access, audit logging, and client-owned infrastructure where appropriate. Access is limited to the systems and data required for the engagement, and the architecture is designed so changes to critical commercial data can be traced back to their source and execution history. For regulated or enterprise environments, security and retention requirements are incorporated into the architecture before deployment.
